Youth Coaching
Feel like youth acting classes are too elementary for your aspiring actor? Do they need more than "theatre games" or want a little extra focus on their abilities in a safe one on one environment?
As an actress and a mother, Kim knows how important it is to find the best resources for our kids that helps them grow in a positive way. If you have a child interested in acting or making that transition from Theatre to Film & TV, Kim can get them where they need to be. Whether working on an audition, pervious material that they have, or being assigned a scene from Kim, together they can work on:
All sessions can be recorded and any material sent by Kim can be sent approved by the parent or guardian before given to the student.
“It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Kim as an acting teacher/on camera coach. After having a child in the industry for quite a few years it was imperative for me to find someone that would bring my daughter to a different level of acting which Kim has done. She is real, compassionate and says it like it is. Kim being a professional actor herself can relate and put herself in the shoes of an actor she is working with.”
- Victoria, mother of Emily Isabel, Saturday Night Live, Alma’s Way
"I have been a casting director for 25 years and coaching for almost that long. Coaching kids can be highly challenging. (I don’t even attempt!) Kim Ramirez is incredible. Kim truly sees kids... she can hold space for them so they can be relaxed and fully present while she intuitively guides them to their best performances. For parents, Kim she is easy to connect with, relate to, and trust. Kim is whipsmart and totally “on it” while also easygoing, engaging, and grounded. She’s also a fantastic actor and mom herself, so she just "gets it.” Kim is also very savvy when it comes to the entertainment industry and the NY market. She watches the shows and films. She sees the theatre. She knows the casting directors. You can’t go wrong with Ms. Ramirez as part of your child’s team."
